It’s a Work Party!  Help beautify/weed our Mother Red Blue Bonnet Fields @ the San Antonio Food Bank tomorrow (Thu, Mar 22,  8:30–11:30am). Bring gloves, grubbing hoes, and any other useful equipment. Plenty of parking on street. Details on directions once you arrive at the SA Food Bank on this map.

Spring Youth Garden Educator Trg Prep: Two volunteers needed on Thu & Fri (Mar 22-23), from 12-4pm at 3355 Cherry Ridge Dr. Suite 212  to help organize binders & supplies for teachers.  (Indoor, sitting work.) For details, email Ruby Zavala.

SCHULTZE HOUSE NEWS:  The good folks at New Earth Compost have donated 100 cubic yards of compost for the Schultze House! We anticipate the compost will be delivered the second week of April (April 9-13). Help is needed to spread the compost in the planting beds….in the cool morning hours!  Sign up at VMS now to help establish the Schultze House planting beds. Contact Jack Downey, [email protected] or (210) 771-7312 for information.

Learn about the Challenges in Maintaining the SA Museum Reach with Peter Pierson at the afternoon BCMG Seminar/Mtg on Thu, Apr 19, 1-3pm.
Luis Valdez will inform attendees on Growing Orchids in San Antonio at the evening BCMG meeting on Thu, May 17, from 6-8:30pm.
Held at 3355 Cherry Ridge, 78230, and free & open to the public.

Earth Day Event:  Margaret Bass, Youth Ag-Outreach, will have a  youth activities booth at Woodlawn Lake Park and needs 3 volunteers to help with pollinator activities. April 21, 9am to 4pm (actual time of event 10-3). Sign up on VMS.
