Topic: Plants That Attract Hummingbirds
Learn about what plants to grow to attract hummingbirds to your yard, which to select for sun or shade, and how to grow them. Ms. Easton-Smith will also cover other important elements for hummingbirds to be happy and well-fed.
Speaker: Virginia (Ginger) Easton Smith, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service
Virginia (Ginger) Easton Smith has been the Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension in Aransas County for 12 years. Master Gardeners, Community Garden, Landscaping, and 4-H are some of the programs she works with. Prior to working in Aransas County, she was an Ag Agent for 17 years in Hawaii and also worked for a landscape contractor. She received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Horticulture Science (not surfing!) from the University of Hawaii.
The meeting is free and open to the public.
The business portion of the meeting will begin immediately after the conclusion of the presentation.
