Topic:  New and Underutilized Plants for the Texas Hill Country

Jessica will be presenting information on new plant breeding and upcoming introductions from Greenleaf Nursery Co.  She will also touch on her personal favorites that are underutilized in the Texas Hill Country landscape.

Speaker:  Jessica Robertson, Greenleaf Nursery Co.

Jessica is the Central Texas sales representative for the Greenleaf Nursery Co.  She is a 7th generation Texas farmer with a degree in Biology from Texas State University.  As a child, Jessica helped with her family’s commercial peach operation, Burg Corner, in Stonewall, Texas.  Her husband’s family owns Backbone Valley Nursery in Marble Falls, Texas, where her private orchid collection can be viewed by the public.  She lives in Marble Falls with her husband and three sons.

The meeting is free and open to the public.
 The business portion of the meeting will begin immediately after the conclusion of the presentation.
