CANCELLED: Biology & Ecology of Native Texas Bees & City Nature Challenge

THE SAN ANTONIO BOTANICAL GARDEN IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

Texas has over 700 species of native bees representing almost one-fifth of all the species found in the United States. Join entomologist, Jessica Beckham, to learn about the biology and ecology of native bees, the role they play in maintaining healthy ecosystems, their importance as pollinators, and what we can plant and do in our landscapes to promote healthy populations. Learn about the citizen science computer and smartphone app iNaturalist and participate in the City Nature Challenge (April 24-27) while touring the Botanical Garden.

Fee: $15 ($13.50 member); register online.
