This workshop will look at the historical landscapes of San Antonio, TX, specifically around the plants and people that have inhabited it and how their impact is reflected in the city and even world today. The workshop will use the Botanical Garden’s three Native Trails and the Family Adventure Garden to examine people’s relationships with place and plants and consciously incorporating these relationships into future design. This presentation will include classroom discussion as well as a walk through the Botanical Garden for a more detailed and interactive conversation.
