POSTPONED: Ethnobotany of the Plants on the South Texas Trail

The San Antonio Botanical Garden is postponing all events and public programs
starting Monday, March 16 – Sunday, March 22.

For thousands of years, people survived and prospered in the sometimes-harsh environment of South Texas through their knowledge and use of native plants and animals. Learn how the plants commonly found in South Texas were used for culinary, medicinal, ceremonial and home arts purposes. This class includes a tour of the South Texas Native Trail and a tasting of some traditional and non-traditional foods made from native plants. Sponsored by San Antonio Waster System.

Fee: Free to the public; registration required.
