Go Native…And Still Fit In — NPSOT Guadalupe County Chapter Mtg.

September 10, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Free.  Native Plant Society of Texas, Guadalupe County Chapter Meetings are open to the public.  Visitors are welcome.  There is a plant/seed exchange and greeting at 6:30 PM followed by the program at 7:00 PM.
For more information, directions to St John’s Lutheran Church, or membership applications, see the website at http://npsot.org/wp/guadalupe/

Some familiar grasses and shrubs often die no matter how much water, fertilizer, and time the owners use to care for them.  But fields of wild plants thrive nearby with no tending at all.  Yet such plants could never suit HOA-approved small yards, right?  Wrong.  You can satisfy your HOA, your neighbors, this area’s unique wildlife, and even your own timeclock and pocketbook if you’ll look again at those seemingly untamable native plants.

Speaker:  Kathryn Berck, former president of this NPSOT chapter and a vice president of the state organization
