Home Mushroom Growing Workshop

Learn the art and science of mushroom cultivation from Louis San Miguel. In this class, he will teach you how to cultivate edible and medicinal mushrooms at home using a variety of materials. Topics include the mushroom life cycle, how to choose materials, substrate preparation, indoor cultivation methods, mycelial expansion, and the incorporation of fungi into your garden and landscape. There will be a hands-on portion of the class where students will make oyster mushroom grow kits to take home.
