John Vann became a Bexar County Master Gardener in October 2014. He has advanced training in Irrigation Efficiency and Rainwater Harvesting. His passion is drip irrigation and water conservation. John will teach us about drip irrigation, also known as micro irrigation or low volume irrigation. It is a method by which water is delivered through a network of tubes, valves, and emitters that slowly “drip” water directly where needed. In this presentation, you will hear about the benefits of drip irrigation, where it can be used effectively, and how to design and install a drip system.
