Lunch & Learn with a Bexar County Master Gardener

Bring your favorite lunch and learn from one of our Bexar County Master Gardeners at this free seminar.  Seating is limited to the first 25 respondents and walk-ins will not be accepted, so please make your reservation in advance.  Others will be waitlisted and notified in the event of a cancellation.  Although not required at this time, masks are highly recommended.

The Basics of Plant Propagation

This workshop will present the basics of plant propagation, including the two main types of propagation.
Participants will be shown the techniques that can be used with most plants, with examples of stem cuttings.

Registration

Liana Benavides, a Bexar County Master Gardener since 2019, is currently serving as BCMG President.  She fell into gardening by accident when she found herself as coordinator of the garden program at NEISD’s Tex Hill Middle School.  She is a happily married mother of two daughters who enjoys gardening, reading, and music.  Her favorite flower is the hibiscus.

Nancy Mills is a retired NEISD elementary school teacher and literacy specialist, the mother of three grown children and six grandchildren, and the wife of a periodontist.  She became a Master Gardener in 2019 and now serves as a Member at Large on the BCMG Board and as co-coordinator for the SABOT Culinary Garden BCMG Docent program.
