This program will give you the butterflies, in a good way!
Join Ranger Jessica and Friends of GCSNA volunteer Debi for a family friendly program about helping Monarchs and other pollinators. Learn some of the things we can do to help conserve the habitats of Monarch butterflies and other pollinators. 10:00AM – 2:00PM. Monarch life cycle/migration displays, crafts, live Monarchs and information about planting native plants will be a few of the activities available to visitors. Most importantly, attendees will have the opportunity to tag and release a Monarch into our pollinator garden!
Open to all ages; minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Registration is NOT required; no pets please. All Natural Area entry fees apply.
Meet in the Exhibit Gallery next to the Visitors Center. This program will take place rain or shine! Check trail conditions by going to the GCSNA twitter feed, or the GCSNA Facebook Page.
