PHP Children’s Vegetable Garden Volunteer Orientation

The Phil Hardberger Park Children’s Garden program serves homeschooled children ages 7-14. Volunteers are needed to educate children and parents on good garden practices and to assist with program set-up and garden maintenance. The garden class will meet every Tuesday morning September 10 – December 10, 9:00 to 11:30 A.M., at PHP East, 1021 Voelcker Lane, San Antonio, TX 78248.
Volunteer Orientation will be held today, September 3rd, at 10:00 A.M.

The PHP Children’s Vegetable Garden is a cooperative project of San Antonio Parks and Recreation, Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, and Bexar County Master Gardeners.
Color codes for the calendar are as follows:
- Orange: These are events for BCMG members only.
- Blue: These are public events for which BCMG members can also receive CEU credit.
- Green: These are events that are open to the general public.
