Urban beekeeping is a growing and exciting pastime all over the country. Find out what all the buzz is about! Robert Holliday, a long-time beekeeper in San Antonio, will discuss the joys, the challenges, and the environmental and community benefits that result from these incredible insects. Rob will have practical advice on how to get started with this hobby, how to find local resources and support, and what to do with all the delicious honey your hives will produce.

Fee: Included with membership or general admission ($15 – $12) plus $10 refundable deposit; registration required online, deposit refundable upon attendance.

Instructor: Robert Holliday, long time urban beekeeper, educator on apiculture
