Topic: I Just Wanna Plant a Tomato: The World of Potting Soil
MiracleGro, StaGreen, Fox Farm, Nature’s Creation, New Earth, Gardenville, Hill Country, Bob’s Better Dirt — There are so many potting soils/mixes from which to choose. Where to even begin? In this seminar Bill will help navigate the jungle of choices and sift through the what’s and how’s of potting soils…or is it potting mixes?
Speaker: Bill Swantner, Bexar County Master Gardener
Bill Swantner was part of Bexar County Master Gardener Class 61 and became our BCMG Master Gardener of the Year in 2019. Bill has Advanced Training in both Earth-Kind® Landscaping and First Detector Plant Disease, and he has studied crape myrtle bark scale (CMBS) with the plant pathology staff at Texas A&M University.
The meeting is free and open to the public.
The business portion of the meeting will begin immediately after the conclusion of the presentation.
