If you are interested in becoming a beekeeper, or are just interested in beekeeping and want to know how to get started, this is the course for you!
November 2nd Classroom: 9am-3:30pm
The course covers the basics of bees and beekeeping, including: bee biology, beekeeping equipment and tools, space and time requirements and beekeeping for tax exemption.
November 3rd Field Day: 9am-12pm (weather dependent)
A hands-on field day to a beekeeper’s yard is where you will learn the most about beekeeping! Must sign a medical release waiver to participate. Bee suit provided.
Cost is $65, includes lunch and the Bee Field Day (in Leon Springs) and tons of information!
