Fall Gardening

“Spring gardening is just practice for fall gardening.” Whether or not you’re ready, fall gardening is well underway by September. Flowers, grass, trees, shrubs, and veggies will all do well with fall planting. We’ll talk about bed preparation, selection of plants, planting them, watering them conservatively, and fertilizing them.
Instructor: Thomas Harris, Ph.D., is a Master Gardener certified by the State of Texas, a Master Pruner certified by the San Antonio Botanical Garden, a Gardening Columnist, and a founder and volunteer for the Gardening Volunteers of South Texas (GVST).
Fee: $19. NISD class meets in Rm C106.
