Grasses

November 6, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Lawn grasses in our area can be a beauty or a beast.  Some require lots of water while others don’t.  All require at least some TLC in order to be lush and carpet-like.  In this class, we discuss the major varieties of grass that do well here, fertilizer for them, watering, and pest/disease problems.

Instructor:  Thomas Harris, Ph.D., is a Master Gardener certified by the State of Texas, a Master Pruner certified by the San Antonio Botanical Garden, a Gardening Columnist, and a founder and volunteer for the Gardening Volunteers of South Texas (GVST).

Fee: $19/person.  NISD class meets in Rm C112.  Click here for more information or to register.
