Home Mushroom Growing Workshop

Learn the art of cultivating edible and medicinal mushrooms at home using a variety of materials. Topics to be covered are the mushroom life cycle, how to choose materials, substrate preparation, indoor cultivation methods, mycelial expansion, and how to incorporate fungi into your garden and landscape. There will be a hands-on portion of the class where we make oyster mushroom grow kits to take home.
