How To ID Native Texas Plants: Sunflower, Mint, Pea and Mallow Families

Participants will learn about the identifying characteristics of four major plants families in Texas—sunflower, mint, pea, and mallow—will practice identifying plants in a tour of the garden, and will receive a free Texas native plant from one of these families.

Instructor:  Michael Eason, author, conservation botanist, and head of SABOT Rare Plant Conservation Dept.

Fee: $15 ($13.50, members)
