Note: The Resource Connection is in south Fort Worth, next to The TCMGA demonstration garden.
After the course, participants will be expected to do 20 hours of education-related activities, make presentations, conduct youth and community education programs, be a resource for interns and Master Gardener classes and events. Upon completion, you will receive certification as an Advanced Master Gardener in Trees and Tree Care.
Registration fee of $200, includes lectures, tours, Trees and Tree Care thumb drive with power point presentaions and resource materials, “Trees of Texas Field Guide” by Stan Tekiela, tote bag with resource materials, 1 dinner and 2 lunches.

To be eligible for this training an individual must possess an up-to-date Master Gardener certification or be an employee of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. Your application must be approved by David Rodriguez, Bexar County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Agent. Please contact Nick Vazquez to secure David’s approval and signature.
Special Note: Any Master Gardener who is approved to attend an Advanced Training class can have the class tuition reimbursed up to $100. Bexar County Master Gardeners will not reimburse travel expenses (hotel, fuel, meals, etc.) or apparel that may be purchased for the training.
