Propagating for Success — NPSOT Guadalupe County Mtg.

Free. Native Plant Society of Texas, Guadalupe County Chapter Meetings are open to the public. Visitors are welcome. There is a plant/seed exchange and greeting at 6:30 PM followed by the program at 7:00 PM. Come to this meeting prepared to get your hands dirty! One of our favorite propagators, Bob Teweles, will teach us which native plants are most wanted at our annual plant sale, and are also dependable for the homeowner to propagate. He will demonstrate the most reliable propagation techniques – planting seeds, layering and cuttings – and how to unfailingly maintain plants through winter and summer heat. He will also distribute seeds to those willing to propagate for our future plant sales.
Bob Teweles has a BS in Biology, is a Certified Propagation Specialist with the Texas Master
Gardeners, and has taught propagation for the Guadalupe County Master Gardeners for the
past eight years.
Color codes for the calendar are as follows:
- Orange: These are events for BCMG members only.
- Blue: These are public events for which BCMG members can also receive CEU credit.
- Green: These are events that are open to the general public.
