San Antonio’s Tri-Centennial and the Preservation of Our History
A few years ago, Lewis Fisher tackled the task of writing a history of the San Antonio Conservation Society. What better time to learn about how the Society has preserved San Antonio’s most historic structures than during the year of our tri-centennial and Fiesta San Antonio. The book is Preserving San Antonio and it pays homage to the San Antonio Conservation Society—a new Garden Center member organization. It also ties into our Fiesta month—since the Society is the founder and sponsor of the annual Night in Old San Antonio celebration.
Color codes for the calendar are as follows:
- Orange: These are events for BCMG members only.
- Blue: These are public events for which BCMG members can also receive CEU credit.
- Green: These are events that are open to the general public.
