Starting Out Natives! — NPSOT San Antonio Mtg.

The Native Plant Society of Texas-San Antonio (NPSOT) Chapter meeting begins at 6:30 pm with a Native plant/seed exchange & social time, followed by the Program at 7pm.

Dr. Wendy Drezek, educator, Texas Master Naturalist, Texas Water Specialist, Citizen Scientist Invader, and Project WILD and Growing Up Wild Facilitator, will discuss the rationale of beginning nature education in the first three years of a child’s life, along with an overview of the Starting Out Wild program.

Jana Gibbons, Texas Master Naturalist, San Antonio Zoo Docent, and San Antonio Botanical Garden volunteer, will give a demonstration of the creative and interactive children’s activities she and her husband have developed that engage the entire family.
