The San Antonio Botanical Garden is extending its hours to 8:30 pm so you can enjoy Summer Nights every Thursday beginning June 27 and ending on Thursday, August 15, except for Thursday, July 4th.

This Summer Nights series invites the San Antonio community and beyond to experience the Botanical Garden’s 38 acres of nature space with live music, food trucks, giant lawn games, plant activities, and more. Visitors are welcomed to bring a picnic (food, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages), lawn chairs, and blankets.
Some of tonight’s features:
Live Music by Eastside Birds (4:30 – 8:00 pm)
Plant Activity (5:00 – 7:00 pm) – Learn about the mint family and practice identifying the plants in the garden.
Guided Walk in the Garden (5:30 – 7:00 pm) – Walks are led by experienced garden docents and will include different parts of the garden based on the interests of the attendees.
Culinary Docents (5:30 – 8:30 pm) – Ask Texas A&M AgriLife Extension trained Master Gardener volunteers your home gardening questions.
