Texas Arbor Day

Texas Arbor Day is Friday, November 2, 2018.
“The idea is for everyone in Texas to take one day – the same day – to truly appreciate trees and plant one,” says Paul Johnson, Texas A&M Forest Service urban and community forestry program coordinator. “Planting a tree leaves a legacy for future generations while beautifying the spaces where we live, work and play today.”
The San Antonio Botanical Garden is celebrating Texas Arbor Day with hands-on activities for families and a tree adoption!
Included with general admission ($12-$9). Members enjoy this event for free.
Color codes for the calendar are as follows:
- Orange: These are events for BCMG members only.
- Blue: These are public events for which BCMG members can also receive CEU credit.
- Green: These are events that are open to the general public.
