Wildflowers of Texas!
Speaker: Michael Eason
Michael is a conservation botanist and author of the newly released Wildflowers of Texas. He is the founder of Texas Flora, a Facebook group devoted to plant identification in Texas and adjacent states in Mexico and for which he received the NPSOT 2016 Digital Media Award. He performs botanical inventories and rare plant surveys on private and public lands, primarily in the Chihuahuan Desert ecoregion. Previously, he served as the plant conservation coordinator for the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. His presentation will be followed by a book signing.
