Session 1:  What’s in a Name? – Soil Has a History
Session 2:  Potting Soil Demonstration & Workshop

Presented by

Bill Swantner, Bexar County Master Gardener

Monday, November 15, 2021
12:00 – 2:00 PM
San Antonio Garden Center
3310 N. New Braunfels
San Antonio, TX  78209

Topsoil is dirt and potting soil isn’t.  True potting soil is actually “soil-less.”  Topsoil is for planting in the ground.  Potting soil is a mixture of peat moss and other organic materials such as composted sawdust.  Although Bill is not “Old as Dirt,” he has a lot of gardening experience and some very informative things to say.  Each session will be followed by a question-and-answer period.
